Simply Pink and Yellow

So I have been asleep for most of today, it seem's that the lack of sleep over the past few nights have finally caught up with me and don't I know it!  I feel exhausted!
I got an email from EtsyKid's Team today informing me I have been accepted onto the team!  I am already receiving lovely welcomes from members on Facebook, it's still all new to me so I am trying to get my head around it all!  Go have a nosy, there are some wonderful shops on there!

Also, I found and loved this treasury so much I just had to share it with you, created by Mariarosariarusso on Etsy, my heart yo yo Alice band is featured!  I hope you like it too!

I got sunshine on a cloudy day

Yuck!  So, apparently here in England we have had the wettest April on record!  How depressing?  Hopefully our summer will start soon!  and unfortunately I am unwell yet again, another case of Tonsillitis and a bit of a cold :( so all in all, I am pretty down in the dumps at the minute but nothing a good cup of tea, rubbish daytime television and a bit of knitting can't sort out!  I figured since the weather is so depressing and us English lot wont be getting much sunshine in the next week I would brighten your day with a little colour inspiration, to keep us all going!

'April Showers bring May Flowers'

Wow, busy week! As you may know, I am an intern at MillaMia and this week we have been getting ready for a feature in the Australian Women's Weekly which I have to say is VERY big out there, much more so than England!
Also, this week I got the opportunity to sit in and take part in a restructuring business conference! With a very experienced and lovely man in the creative industry! The conference has to be all hush hush, so unfortunately I cannot discuss it much but I can say I learned ALOT and I am very honored and privileged to be a part of it! I honestly do not want to leave in September!

You may have noticed I have added and updated the Events page. I am very excited!! I will have a stall at Old Spitalfields Market, 9th June. This is very big for Loopy Bird's Boutique, we are expecting 35,000 visters!! So I am frantically stitching and getting my stock ready for it!  And although the weather has been dreadful this week, I am quite thankful as it is keeping me in and working!! :) Here are a few new Alice bands:

Let me know what you think!!!  This week I decided to create a new Facebook page, after the hard decision of changing my name from Loopy Bird Crafts to Loopy Bird's Boutique I really wanted everything to match and Facebook will not let you change your page name if you have over 100 fans!!   Which is very frustrating as I have over 1,000 fans!  But it was necessary!  Here is the new link:

That's it for now, back to sewing like a mad lady!!

'Hey what's a mow mow? - A dyslexic cow'

Firstly, apologies if the title of this entry offends anyone! Absolute high light of the day was a friend of mine coming out with this statement!! In actual fact, I am still not quite sure what a 'Mow mow' is or even how it entered our conversation in the first place! So, I know, I know, no entries for a while *Slaps wrist* I went to my Mum's over Easter to visit some family and collect my chocolate! (obviously!) My Mum treated me to a day out where I got some gorgeous new yarns and she even treated me to a nice lunch out with my little brother! Also, it's been fabric yo yo overload! I have been making like a crazy lady, I actually trapped myself in my room the other day because there was that much stuff out!! All ready for yesterday! My first craft fair for a while, as I have been focusing on other things such as my internships and preparing myself for my final year of university in September, but I kinda missed the fairs and I am definatley glad to be back on the band wagon! And, what a brilliant start! I was absolutely made up with my stall, I have had visions in my head of how it was going to look for weeks and today it looked just how I wanted it too!!!
What do you think? Details of the Duck Pond Market, Manor Farm, Ruislip can be found here I will most certainly be present at the next one which is May 20th so, if your about come and visit us, there are lots of lovely sellers, some beautiful finds, activities for children and food that will literately make you drool!
