Mobile/Cell Phone Cosy

Make your phone warm and snug and scratch free with this cute little cable phone cosy

You will need:

♥ Aran/Worsted/10 ply yarn

♥ 5mm needles

Abbreviations:

♥ Sts=Stitches

♥K=knit

♥P=purl

♥C4B=Slip 2 stitches on cable needle, hold to the back of work, Knit the next to stitches and then knit the next 2 stitches of the cable needle

Using the mentioned yarn and size needles, your phone cozy should measure at 4 inches (10cm) in height and 3 inches (7.5cm) in width. Other yarn can be used, make sure to use the right size needle for that yarn and make adjustments accordingly.

This size fits my phone which is roughly about the same size as an iphone.

Pattern:

♥Cast on 12 sts

♥Row 1:  k across row

♥Row 2:  K across row

♥Row 3:  K4, P4, K4

♥Row 4:  K across

♥Row 5:  K4, C4B, K4

Repeat from row 1-5 until length required, for my phone I repeated the pattern 5 times.

♥Complete 2 rows (or more if required) of rib (K1,P1)

Back:

♥cast on 12 sts

♥Work in garter stitch until length required, I completed 32 rows.

♥ Complete 2 rows (or more if required) of rib (K1,P1)

Sew and weave in all ends, and comfortably fit phone into cozy.
